Why should we use Static generator for IML ?
1. Eliminate static interference to ensure accurate label positioning During the manual injection molding process, plastic film or labels are prone to static electricity due to friction during handling, cutting, and placement. Static electricity can cause the label to adsorb dust, slightly shift or curl, affecting its precise positioning inside the mold. Electrostatic devices neutralize charges by ionizing air, eliminate electrostatic adsorption effects, ensure that labels are flat and adhere to the surface of the mold, and avoid defective products caused by positional deviations.
2. Improve the adhesion firmness Static electricity may cause small gaps or repulsive forces between the label and the mold, resulting in a loose bond between the label and the product after injection molding. After the static electricity is eliminated by the electrostatic device, the label can adhere more tightly to the mold, thereby enhancing the fusion between the resin and the label during the injection molding process, improving the aesthetics and durability of the finished product.
