The curing time of the release agent on the surface of the substrate film is very short, but in order to make the transfer effect better, it is necessary to let the solvent evaporate completely before preparing the coating ink, so the drying temperature can be appropriately high, or dry on 2-4 color groups. The coating thickness of the release agent is controlled at about 5μm, and it can not be too thick or too thin, too thick will make the release layer easy to fall off from the substrate film, and too thin will lead to the printing layer can not be completely transferred during heat transfer.
Coating ink
The printing layer of the thermal transfer film is generally printed by intaglio. The substrate film roll coated with release agent passes through the middle of the embossed roller and the plate roller, and the plate roller rotates in the ink tank to print out the picture and text, and then the printing ink layer is dried by the drying device to speed up the drying speed. The drying temperature of the heat transfer ink is selected according to its solvent. If the solvent is fast-drying toluene, the drying temperature can be appropriately reduced. If it is slow-drying xylene, the drying temperature should be increased. At the same time, note that the printing color order of the thermal transfer film is the opposite of the general printing color order, that is, printing ink with high transparency first, and then printing ink with low transparency, and finally printing a layer of white ink according to needs. The function of opaque ink is to cover the color of the substrate itself, so that the graphic level and tone of the transfer to the colored object are not affected.

Winding and cutting
The air expansion shaft of the winding is the same as that of the paper discharging shaft, and the winding force is controlled by the winding motor to control the traction force of the traction roll, which is generally the same as the tension at the paper discharging place, so that the machine can operate normally. When a winding shaft is finished, it can be cut and rewound to another shaft. The thermal transfer film rolls will be cut into finished products of different widths as required. In order to save costs, heat transfer graphics are usually evenly distributed on a plate according to their size, and then cut when used. At the same time, the most important thing is that the cutting machine must have an automatic correction device, otherwise it will affect the overall effect of the text.
During the printing process, release agent, ink and adhesive should be added at any time, and the reel film should be continued on the paper feeding mechanism in time to ensure the continuous and normal printing. It is also necessary to regularly sample check the coating of the materials of the thermal transfer film, whether there are white spots, dirt, streaks and other drawbacks on the printing sheet, and eliminate printing faults in time.
