In film labeling (also known as in mold labeling) is an innovative form of label packaging that differs from traditional packaging methods such as direct screen printing, heat shrink labels, and adhesive labels. 

Iml is mainly used for blow molding and injection molding products of materials such as PP, PE, PET, etc. Its working principle is to place the already printed film label into the blow molding and injection molding cavity before blow molding and injection molding. When the mold is closed for blowing and injection, the special adhesive on the label inside the film will melt and merge with the surface of the bottle or injection molded part due to the high temperature and pressure inside the mold. After the mold is opened, a beautifully printed bottle or injection molded part is completed in one go.

The materials commonly used for iml are PP, PE, and PE PP copolymers. Labels are generally divided into three layers: the first layer is the printing layer, the second layer is the main layer, and the third layer is the hot-melt adhesive layer. The labels labeled inside the film must have good exhaust function, as the quality of the exhaust function directly affects the appearance of the product.

How to store IML

1. Temperature: Be stored in an environment of 5 ℃ -25 ℃, in a dry, well ventilated environment, avoiding direct sunlight

3. Packaging: Should be intact and avoid stacking The usage cycle of film is generally about 1 year. If the storage time exceeds this cycle, it should be inspected before use

Application conditions of heat transfer film 

1、 Temperature The suitable temperature is generally between 180 ℃ and 200 ℃

2、 Pressure Suitable pressure range: The hot stamping pressure is generally 4-6 kg/cm ²

3、 Speed Determination of speed: The speed should be determined based on the hot stamping area and taking into account the power of the heating temperature.

Usually, the speed is determined first, then the pressure is determined, and finally the temperature is determined

4、 Other precautions Storage and Preservation: Should be handled with care, placed vertically or vertically, avoiding horizontal placement to prevent deformation. Stay away from heat sources and humid environments Operating environment: Heat transfer printing should be carried out in a ventilated, dry, and dust-free environment
